Web pages are of two types. One type has the specific web page content on the right side and a menu on the left side. The menu provides links to other pages. The other type of page has no menu on the left side instead at the bottom of the page there are one or more icons to move you forward or backwards through a document or to exit it. Both types of documents, show the page/section name in the upper right corner.

Home Page
When you access the site you will be positioned at the "Home Page." It contains a welcome message and an invitation to join the Bermuda Collectors Society. There is also a request for articles/exhibits, and for feedback on what you liked or didn't like and how the site might be improved. Lastly, there is a request for volunteers to help maintain the site.

BERMUDA PHILATELY

Bermuda Post:
This section contains the table of contents for each issue of the Bermuda Post and a comprehensive subject matter index for all issues from 1986 through 2004. We have also included two articles from each year's journals along with information on how to obtain individual back issues.

Articles/Exhibits
This section will contain materials submitted by our members and site visitors. We want the site to be a vehicle for articles with heavy image requirements or where color is essential. It is our intention to have a symbiotic, not competitive, relationship with the Bermuda Post. At the present time a number of Bermuda Post articles are planned with a color/image web supplement. We also want to display special collections and exhibits our members would like to share with others. Your submissions can be as small as a page or two up to a hundred or more pages. Everyone has something in his or her collection worth sharing (don't feel you can't submit anything unless it is spectacular or expensive). We need your contributions to make our web site a great place to visit.

Literature
This section contains a comprehensive index of published handbooks and monographs on Bermuda philately. From this list we plan to build a web reference library of those items which are either in the public domain or for which we can obtain the copyright holder's permission.

Auctions
Auctions Similar to our Literature section, the Auctions section has a comprehensive index of major Bermuda auctions. We plan to seek permission to include these auction catalogs on our web site.

Submissions
This section spells out how to prepare and submit articles or exhibits to be published on the web site.

BERMUDA COLLECTORS SOCIETY
The menu items for the Bermuda Collectors Society need little, if any, explanation. There are pages giving a brief history of the society, our bylaws, officers, and information on joining the society.

There will also be a membership listing with e-mail addresses for those members who have consented to having this information published. All e-mail addresses will be encoded using Enkoder to prevent their being read by e-mail harvesting robots.

A bulletin board for posting society news, items of general interest and member requests for information or help is available as is a BCS auction page containing a copy of the auction catalog and an e-mail bid sheet. Upon completion of the auction, prices realized will be published. Note the auction is only open to BCS menbers.
